A decadent lunch at L’Osier Tokyo. We chose the ¥25,000 Les Belles Gourmandes menu.
Highlights from the meal included the Hokkaido crab course, the kinmedai course, the bread service, the iconic endless dessert cart, and the immaculate service.
The kinmedai was my favorite course and the best fish course I have had in recent memory, surpassing other phenomenal courses like the oil-blanched rock cod at Kato and poached trout at Smyth. The kinmedai was just so remarkably tender and paired wonderfully with the foam and light soy sauce.
Throughout the meal, service was impeccable surpassing even my visits to Aska and Smyth, and setting a new personal benchmark for hospitality. A particularly thoughtful touch was how they proactively accommodated my partner’s left-handedness after the amuse-bouche in a fashion that we didn't receive at Aska or Smyth.
I hope to write another review for dinner in the future 😋

This is the content I love to see. How long did this experience take and how was the booking process?
I think they have an incredible value lunch. It was so filling last time I can’t imagine how more food for their dinner at twice the cost is worth it for most people.
Good classic French but still modern in a sense.
