A new Italian restaurant is in the works for Loudoun County. It’s called Pasta di Guy and it looks like it’s a fast-casual style restaurant.

Fast-casual is, of course, the mid-point between fast food and full service, sit down. You still order at a counter, but the ingredients and preparation are supposed to be a step up from typical fast food.

Pasta di Guy is coming to the Ashburn Village Shopping Center off Gloucester Parkway in Ashburn.

It’s apparently taking over the nearly 2,600 s.f. end unit currently occupied by Carnegie NY Style Pizza. Carnegie recently closed down and signs in the window teased a new concept was coming.

Pasta di Guy is a small brand coming out of the Tampa, Florida area. According to its website, there are two locations in Florida, with a third in the works. There is also another location in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The upcoming Ashburn location will make five stores total.

The menu at Pasta di Guy includes pasta dishes such as Penne Alfredo with Chicken, Baked Ziti, and Chicken Parm Pasta.

There is also a build-your-own pasta option where you choose the type of pasta you would like, then the sauce you want, and then any add-ins such as grilled chicken, sausage, bacon, or spinach.

Besides pasta dishes, the menu also offers sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, appetizers, and desserts. You can see the menu from one of the Florida locations here.

Right now, the Pasta di Guy team is hoping to open in Ashburn sometime this coming summer.
