Funds have been low this week but I was craving korean fried chicken. I just had to get creative with what I had.

Had these chicken tenders in my freezer and said to myself “hmm how can I make it korean?”

FYI, I’d recommend adding some ketchup to your sauce. It’ll help balance out the flavors and add another dimension of umami, sweetness, and tanginess!

  5. Legit home cooking. What’s the sauce right after gochujang? I don’t think it was shown

  6. I’m always impressed with your Korean cooking!

I don’t know about the authenticity with the Tyson strips 🤔

NGL, looks like something I would fix when I’m really high.

  9. I absolute get it but I do find it funny that “I had no ingredients!” still uses over a dozen ingredients, lol

Nice! As a Korean, when I run out of ingredients I just dip my tenders in good ol’ bbq sauce. Bbq sauce kind of tastes like an American teriyaki sauce.

Coincidentally, we had this last night. I’d call this Chicken on Rice.
“Korean Fried Chicken” is a plate of fried chicken drenched in red, with a beer. Maybe popcorn or sweet pickles on the side, but rice is not really a thing.
