I *love* marshmallow so much, particularly fresh marshmallow.
I only made them myself once. It was my first time using gelatin and I don’t know if it was my imagination or not, but when I poured the gelatin packet into the mix, I thought it smelled intensely of like… a barn. And when I ate the finished product, I still thought I could taste that “barn” smell. I’ve been told it’s *not* supposed to be that way… so maybe I was imagining it. But it made me so sad! If I could handle that gelatin smell, I’d be making my own Peeps and chocolate covered marshmallows all year long!
My favorite treat at Disney World is the marshmallow wands… almost no one ever talks about them!
