I sowed about 8 of these vivacious hybrid seeds from Burpee. 7 of them are growing at normal stature but one of them is dwarfed. I’ve grown dwarf tomato varieties and this is exactly what they look like, as you can tell it has the same leaf development but is just 1/3 the total size.
I’m curious as to how this happens as these seeds are hybrid crosses which should produce a very standard and consistent genetic makeup. I’m assuming this has to be a mutation? Anyone get how this could happen?

Honestly could just be a random seed that got in the packet. As someone who saves seeds and also has gotten seeds from small and big companies, it happens allll the time.
