JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — A well-known name from the New York food scene is now serving up a slice of Italian-American tradition right here in South Florida.
Chef Joe Isidori, whose resume includes acclaimed restaurants in New York City and the Hamptons, has officially opened Arthur & Sons in Jupiter.
Isidori joined ARC Florida on April 28 to talk about the expansion.
“I’ve had a home in Jupiter since 2003,” Isidori said. “My parents moved here, my family’s here, it’s one big Italian family. So I figured, it’s time to bring our food to Jupiter.”
He said the decision was easy, calling Jupiter “the best town in Palm Beach County” and the perfect place to introduce his take on classic New York Italian cuisine.
Isidori’s roots in the kitchen run deep. He’s a third-generation chef, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandmother, who was featured in the New York Times back in the 1960s.
“It’s in our blood,” he said. “Some people fix shoes, some people lay bricks—we cook.”

Isidori said his menu features generational recipes passed down and reworked for today, including staples like chicken parmesan, pasta dishes, and his mother’s signature meatballs.
He describes the restaurant as an “old-school New York Italian supper club,” complete with live music, DJs on the weekends, and a high-energy atmosphere.
Looking ahead, Isidori isn’t slowing down. In addition to his new Jupiter restaurant, he also shared that he’s appearing on the Food Network’s show 24 in 24.
For now, though, his focus is on bringing that signature New York flavor, and a whole lot of personality, to the South Florida dining scene.
