McDonald’s is bringing back an item that Aussies have loved since the first day it landed on the menu back in 2022.

The Crème Brûlée Pie was only around for a limited time four years ago, but it has now made its triumphant return to restaurants across the country.

What’s even better is that it won’t cost an arm and a leg.

The dessert item will cost only $2, $1 less than when it first debuted.

Sadly though, the resurrection of this delicious dessert is only for a short time, and McDonald’s told Yahoo Lifestyle customers should lap it up while it’s around.

“Fans can look forward to biting into that golden, crispy crust filled with sweet caramel and smooth vanilla custard goodness.”

When it first debuted in 2022, the menu was also boosted by a Crème Brûlée-inspired McFlurry.

Sadly, this item won’t be coming back this time round.

Food influencer Nectro Vlangos got to try the pie ahead of it dropping into restaurants.

He said it was one of the best pies that the Golden Arches has ever released and said it’s still “so good”.

Aussies were excited to tuck into the dessert.

“I would buy one every day when they were out last time,” said one.

“Omg yay!! Why can’t they make this permanent on the menu?” added another.

“I’ve been waiting for this day to come,” wrote a third.

Some even called this the “best news of 2026” so far, and others were keen on McDonald’s bringing back other desserts, like the raspberry and custard pie and the salted caramel one.

The Crème Brûlée Pie can be found on the Loose Change Menu for just $2 and joins other cheap offerings like the $1 small frozen drink, 50-cent soft serve, $2 hamburger, and $4 sausage McMuffin.
