See Naples and Then Eat: Final Events of the Fourth Edition

The last three events of the fourth edition of ‘See Naples and Then Eat’, a festival conceived, supported, and promoted by the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples. Artistic direction and scientific curation by anthropologist Marino Niola. All events are free of charge.

Friday, May 1st, at 6:00 PM, at the Vincenziani Monumental Complex, the event ‘Pasta cresciuta. The fried treat that smells of alleyways’ will be told by food anthropologist Antonio Puzi. Tasting curated by chef Ciro Grossi. Artistic performance: ”Na sera ‘e maggio’ with Antonella Maisto, Edo Puccini, and Paolo Del Vecchio.

Saturday, May 2nd

At 11:00 AM, at the Regina Coeli Monastic Complex, journalist Dora Iannuzzi will share stories, anecdotes, and curiosities about ‘Sartù di riso. The noble cuisine of Naples’. Tasting curated by chef Marco Caputi. Artistic performance: ‘Neapolitan musical pastimes’ with Giulia Lepore and Alba Brundo.

Sunday, May 3rd

At 11:00 AM, the Posillipo Nautical Club in Naples will host the final event of the ‘See Naples and Then Eat’ festival. Special guest Marisa Laurito, who also participated in the festival’s first event. The appointment is with ‘Gatto di patate. French name, Neapolitan soul’. Its history, anecdotes, and curiosities will be told by anthropologist Marino Niola. Tasting curated by chef Gennaro Palladino. Artistic performance: ‘Parthenoplay’ with Marina Bruno and Giuseppe Di Capua.
