A much-loved Glasgow restaurant that’s been trading for over 60 years has been put up for sale.
O Sole Mio on Bath Street in the city centre is one of the city’s oldest Italian food spots, but has been brought to the market due to retirement.
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co stated that the restaurant, which is found just a few minutes’ walk from Buchanan Street and Buchanan Galleries, “sits at the heart” of Glasgow’s shopping and business district, and is popular for pre-theatre dining, office lunches and social gatherings.
The 52-cover restaurant has a fully fitted commercial kitchen and outside seating, and is recognised as a Glasgow institution, having been trading for over 60 years.
Known for its Italian cuisine, serving up fine pasta, pizza and seafood, O Sole Mio has recently been refurbished to what the agents say is a high standard throughout.
