Macca’s Crème Brûlée Pie: what we know
The classic French dessert has been given the Macca’s pie treatment, and we’re SO here for it.
Way back in 2022, McDonald’s trialled the Crème Brûlée Pie, and clearly, this trial was a success with the pie making an official comeback to Macca’s menu.
The Macca’s Crème Brûlée Pie features smooth caramel and creamy custard, all encased in Macca’s signature crispy pie pastry.
It’s all the best elements of a classic crème brûlée, served up in a warming Macca’s treat.

It seems McDonald’s fans have been waiting for the pie’s return, with fans taking to social media to exclaim their excitement for this iconic comeback.
Food blogger @nectoriouspapi revealed on Instagram that the Crème Brûlée Pie would be returning to Macca’s menus for a limited time only and that he was so excited to see it come back, stating this is one of his favourite pie flavours from Macca’s.
He said: “This is one of my favourite pies ever that Macca’s has released… It’s so good.”
Many fans commented on his video, making it very clear that this pie really is an icon in the Macca’s pie lineup.

Obviously, we had to try it.
Taste team tries Macca’s Crème Brûlée Pie
It’s been so long since we tasted the Crème Brûlée Pie, we almost forgot what it tasted like.
But as soon as we bit into that crispy pastry, it was as good as we remembered.
It truly was reminiscent of a classic crème brûlée with its creamy custard and the caramel combined with the crisp pastry that gave similar vibes to the crispy caramel topping on a crème brûlée.
Plus, it really is a flavour combo you just can’t go wrong with.
“The custard is not too sweet, and the caramel pairs nicely with the custard,” said content coordinator Xenia Taylor.
Senior producer Marina Karris added: “The pastry is so crispy, you can just hear the crunch when you bite into it. The filling is generous and oozes out. I personally prefer the OG apple pie as I like the tang the apples give, but the custard element from this pie combined with apple pie filling would be my dream mash-up.”
Although this pie was delicious on its own, we are always thinking of bigger and bolder ways to enjoy sweet treats: “This on a McFlurry would be really good,” said Marina.
