    Used a Baratza Sette 30 for five years. It did a decent job, but no more. Decibels were killing us.
    New Varia arrived tonight. Used 18 grams of med roast espresso beans in, 16.7 out. Attributed that to first grind…bellows airing out outside. Ground the beans at 2.5, rpm’s 1300. It was so good. New world of coffee.
    I imagine as I become better acquainted with the machine, I’ll be able to give a better response, but this first shot was a game changer. Btw, so quiet!!!

    My VS6 is dogshit. Can grind fine enough. Been spending weeks trying to shim it to work. Tried conical burrs too.

    Piece of crap IMO. Trying to get it to work still.
