SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A handful of the best brunch restaurants in the U.S. are located right here in San Diego County, according to a new list compiled by OpenTable.
The list is based on more than 10 million reviews by verified diners, along with ratings and the amount of reservations.
It’s no secret that San Diego and its neighboring cities are home to award-winning dining destinations, many of which have been recognized in the Michelin Guide.
The following five restaurants have earned a spot on OpenTable’s list of places that know how to serve brunch right, according to reviewers.
Cesarina. (OpenTable)
This Point Loma trattoria has earned the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition for its charming Italian menu and pasta dishes plus inviting atmosphere. Cesarina is located at 4161 Voltaire St. Suite B in San Diego.

Located in Coronado, The Henry is described as a “neighborhood restaurant” where people can feel right at home, whether they are grabbing brunch with family or cocktails with friends. Visit The Henry at 1031 Orange Ave. in Coronado.
The Pony Room. (OpenTable)
The Pony Room is home to one of the most impressive wine and signature cocktail lists in Southern California, according to OpenTable. Weekend brunch is offered on the Rancho Santa Fe establishment’s hacienda-inspired terraces. The Pony Room can be found at 5921 Valencia Circle at the Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa.
