Head to 31st Street park at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for Neptune’s 21st annual Spring Wine Festival on May 16. The event, from noon to 5 p.m., features more than 70 wines from eight countries, including Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Nonalcoholic wines and seltzers are also an option.
Use the complimentary wine glass for unlimited tastings. And, grab fare from Luv-a-Bowls and Coastal Charcuterie food trucks while vibing to live music.
The Neptune Festival is a nonprofit that promotes coastal and beach living. Tickets start at $45. People must be 21 or older to attend.

Bring family and friends to Crystal Palate’s Greek Wine Social in Norfolk’s East Beach area on May 21.
The fun runs from 5 to 7 p.m. Get to know the region by tasting eight wines from Assyrtiko (white) to Xinomavro (red) grape varietals and try some Mediterranean-inspired snacks.
