Hi all! This is my first batch of iced sugar cookies. Learned a lot during this process. The lettering and outlining was the hardest part. I couldn’t get clean lines. Thinking maybe the icing was too thick? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! TIA!

First time, whaaaaaaat!!!!! These are fantastic!
Practice makes perfect! Keeping a steady hand while also squeezing the appropriate amount of icing out isn’t easy. The icing doesn’t look like it was too thick, just play around with consistency until you find what feels good to you. Having the piping tip too small makes steady lines difficult as well.
These look great, and the wobble of the lines gives it that old school homemade tattoo vibe.
These look so amazing for a first time! To help with wobbly lines actually hold the icing bag a ways up from the cookie and kind of let it fall downward rather than writing like you would with a pen. This helped my lines tremendously!
