I told a lot of you in this forum a few weeks ago that I would update everybody on the progress of how I was doing and I squeaked by and missed a frost really close got down to 37 degrees here. Seems like everything‘s doing pretty good so far although even last year at this point, it was doing really good until disaster hit around mid July with all the disease that I got from all the rain so I’m going to try to stay ahead of it and spray fungicide in organic pesticides to hopefully have more than one harvest. If anyone of you guys have any suggestions let me know and please don’t comment on the black plastic cause I’ve heard plenty about that already and my intention is to remove it and use a hardwood mulch as soon as I can.

“Wow” thanks for the tour, I am impressed, you have hundreds of hours invested in this garden. I am doing a standing ovation for you in front of my computer.

It’s incredibly impressive, however they’re spaced really close together so if you have fungal issues due to midsummer rain, you’ll want to really prune them so that they don’t touch and you keep any lower branches off the soil.

Can I ask what you do with all of them? This is only my second year and I did decide to do more tomatoes than last year but I admit I’m wondering if 17 was far too many even with my plans for canning and sharing as much as I can.

What nutrient line/combination do you use to keep your tomatoes and peppers fed?

How do you set up your watering zones? I’m just getting to a point of having 7-8 beds like this. I bought a four zone timer. Do you have specific run lengths on your main half inch distribution line? How many 1/4″ lines do you run of that? Any resources that could help? I want to set and forget in a sense besides winterizing it.

Please slow down on the whip pans, its jarring to watch.

That’s awesome. I’m kinda jelly. It still hits freezing at night here (Germany)

I really like how you have your marigolds separate but right next to or tomato’s. I think I will try that too! I usually plant in the same container as my tomatoes but this looks nice. Thanks.
