I'm deciding between the Citiz and Milk ($320) vs. the Pixie with an Aeroccino ($255 = 180+75). From what I can tell, besides cosmetically, there are only minor differences between these machines–mainly the larger water tank and the connected aeroccino base on the citiz. I prefer the way the Citiz looks, but the Pixie is not bad either. I would mainly be using it for iced/hot lattes, and I usually use a little hand frother if I've ever needed foam. Trying to get thoughts on if the price difference is worth it and if the aeroccino is a good upgrade. Thanks!

My vote is for the pixie due to the size. You won’t have that dock station on the side for the frother so it gives you more options against a wall or tight spaces. I have been using this combo and it’s basically like the pixie I believe: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/nespresso-inissia-espresso-machine-with-aeroccino-milk-frother-by-delonghi-intense-black/J7G8Z3WW5L/sku/5715715?sb_share_source=PDP&ref=app_pdp&loc=pdp_page
I’d say, get the CitiZ Platinum, if possible. Larger tank and has that awesome hot water only separate spout. Real Americano, too. Five buttons Espresso, Lungo, Hot Water, Americano, and XL Americano.
Not sure where you are,I would sell you one for less than 50
I’ve had various OL machines over the years at home and at the office. For my work unit, the most important part has been a compact design and easy portability. I had a U model that worked great for 10 years and it had an adjustable water tank that could be placed on the back or either side. I replaced this machine with Pixie. While I prefer the design esthetic of the Citiz, the smaller size and portability of the Pixie made the decision for me. This machine fits perfectly in most small shopping bags, like the small reusable ones available at Whole Foods. I bring my unit home when the descaling alert comes on and it’s easy to transport on the bus/subway. Good luck with your decision.
