Made bulgur wheat for the first time and it is amazing (used my rice cooker for even greater win). Roasted veggies and salmon with said bulgur wheat for dinner.

    Roasted veggies were zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, and onions. Seasoned the salmon with salt and pepper. Cooked 1 cup of bulgur wheat in 2 cups chicken broth in rice cooker.

    Looks great! I usually do 1:1 volume ratio with water and add a splash of olive oil an be it comes out perfect for me in the rice cooker. I try to fluff it up a bit right after it finishes cooking and that really makes the texture excellent. I love to use it in places where I want something to absorb a sauce or drippings from the other items in the plate.

    over night bulgur wheat is amazing, make it just like you would make your overnight oats. Such better texture and chew than oats.
