Excited to try a hot sauce for the first time and trying to decide which recipe to attempt!

Need a red stick to determine if they are ripe enough… a barrel and 20lbs of salt for the lid!
Seriously, they look great. I assume they’re going to be fermented.

These instantly became one of my absolute favorite peppers to grow, very prolific and wonderful heat/flavor! They have a distinctly vinegary taste that I’ve not found in other peppers.
You’ll have enough peppers to try both, and I would recommend fermenting some mash for hot sauce, but you can also just chop some up & boil in water/salt/vinegar and blend/strain for a delicious (and quick) sauce! I can’t wait for mine this year

Looks delicious! I forgot to grow tabascos this year, definitely plan to next year!

I’m growing habs. First year. I would like to use them for hot sauce, despite the dehydrator just arriving. AI (Claude n Gemini) says definitely ferment. Another adventure.

Nice haul. I thought they grew like Thai chilies – straight upward
