What the hell Ed? You’re using “AI” LLM programs to make fake labels for your website? And you’re not even checking them? wtf is Tacd Sauge? And I’ve never seen a fine roasted ranara pepprr, what does it taste like? I was just shopping for some sauce and seeds. So disappointed.

Are these actual photos of labels that got printed, or are these just website photos and you get some sort of generic label on the actual bottles??
Either way it’s ridiculous, I’m just trying to understand what the thought process was behind these.
I figured it would eventually come to this. Don’t hire an artist. Just eek out that bit of cost. Wont be buying their products.
To be fair neither of those sauces are PuckerButt, either High River and Malettas provided AI slop or didn’t provide proper photos so Ed’s team probably slapped something together.

We are getting close to nothing being real online much faster than I anticipated and it’s very scary.
I specifically avoid Ed Currie and his companies.
I have the Hellacious and Rogue hot sauces from this company (bought them at the supermarket a couple weeks ago) and I noticed that the label was slop. LOL! I thought it was just me. It says 5 FL instead of 5 FL ounces. I wasn’t sure if hotsauce makers were braindead or what.
Anyway the hellacious is a decent sauce.
Ed’s hottest sauces are pretty good, despite all the controversy over him and his company.
I worked for Maletta’s last summer, and I can testify that they had started using AI on some labels, unfortunately. The Vomit one is not, but a couple of the special release ones were.
I’m going to try to talk to them about it next time I meet with them. The sauces are good and the people are great, but I’m not a fan of the AI, especially as they’d commissioned artists before, such as for their Mexicali bottle.
Thank you for calling this garbage out. I don’t support companies that do this. If you can’t pay an artist to make your label or use your own human eyes to write out ingredients I have to assume the stuff inside your bottle is equally unsupervised. Hard pass.
This is why I never buy hot sauces with names like “Puckerbutt” “Colon Cleanser”, or “Haha Funny Poop Fart Joke Funny”

I’m no fan of AI art but to be fair, I think they may have just used AI clean up the image for a more consistent look on their site. It doesn’t look like they use AI to generate the image from scratch; especially since that is not their house brand. They probably just didn’t notice that the text became garbled after spending 10 seconds trying to make it look better.
The end result is obviously bad and there was some really poor attention to detail.
