According to the Egyptian presidency, the Kenyan and French leaders welcomed President El-Sisi and senior guests upon their arrival at the Presidential Palace.

The working dinner was attended by a wide range of African leaders and heads of participating delegations, alongside representatives of regional and international organizations.

According to the Egyptian presidency, constructive discussions took place, focusing on prospects for African-French cooperation, ways to strengthen development partnerships between the two sides, and political consultations to address current crises, particularly those in Africa.

Earlier on Monday, President El-Sisi arrived in Nairobi to attend the two-day summit, taking place on 11–12 May under the title: “Africa Forward: Africa–France Partnerships for Innovation and Growth.”

The Africa-France summit is expected to feature a wide range of African heads of state, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, senior officials from international and regional financial institutions, and representatives of African and French businesses.

The global gathering aims to strengthen the Africa–France partnership while advancing the integration of African priorities into global economic frameworks.
