It’s my first time gardening and I completely underestimated how big some of these plants get. Especially cucumbers. Everything seems to be doing amazing, but anything I should watch out for?

Maybe just prune back some extra growth to increase airflow between plants. Looking good!

yes, Armageddon is upon us! lol
your enemy is mostly airflow….trim out some branches without buds/flowers, even consider letting your cukes run wild on the ground if necessary

…and it’s only May!
I’d prune stuff back pretty heavily. Train the tomatoes to have a single stem. You can do the same with cucumbers, one stem per plant.
If you just let everything grow, it’s going to be a mess, there won’t be enough airflow, disease will set in, and everything will just end up dying prematurely. So it’s better to heavily prune so you can get more stuff to harvest.
You could also just let the cucumbers trail along the ground, but you’ll have to mow around them and the grass will get high and it’ll be hard to see the cucumbers on there.

Maybe do some pruning water well and let the chaos do its thing. That’s my way anyway

I would consider trying to strategyetixally prune some plants higher or lower to crest multiple vertical tiers of heavy foliage

Lol is that a burdock plant?

I’m not sure why folks are minimizing the problem here. Unless you’ve sprayed kaolin clay or something, it looks like mildew is spreading rapidly on your plants. To my eyes, this is indeed a big problem.

Get a few more beds when things go on sale end of season. You’ll need them!

Welcome to cramscaping. It’ll be fine, or it won’t. Gardening is an experiment. See how it goes!

Just let it grow and you can learn from how they behave what to do next time! Half the fun of home gardening is learning!
You can also use stakes to start training plants to grow vertically and even in a direction to pull them apart from
Each other to give them room. Gently and gradually you’ll have them leaning in all directions.
I built something like this to keep them climbing. First year with it so we’ll see. And before anyone says anything, yes I’m proud of it and wanted to show it off a tad 🤣. Shameless plug.

I would get a trellis and grow everything you can vertically. Look up Florida weave.

Good problem to have. As long as you feed and everything looks happy.

I agree with the others, trim the tomatoes up and let the cukes trail. Growing your own food is addicting, get ready for next year now lol

I mean just add fertilizer occasionally and keep it watered and see how it does

Looks like you’re getting some powdery mildew, that would be my main concern with these plants together. Especially cucumbers. The fun thing is, gardening is all an experiment. Sometimes shit works, and sometimes it fails. I think you probably have way too much stuff in there. The eggplants and tomatoes are still going to get huge. My guess is that powdery mildew is going to decimate everything pretty soon bacuse of a lack of airflow. But hopefully you get some good stuff before that happens.
