shifting away from animal products but struggling to find a substitute for my favorite lunch: boiled chicken and veggie dumplings! it's a great cornerstone meal for me because it's easy to load up on cups of greens and fresh veggies as a side for like 8 little dumplings, but switching to a vegan dumpling would get me an animal product free lunch pretty much every single day (i eat this every day 😭)

open to store bought or any recipe that could be made in bulk and frozen!

do you have access to an international or Asian grocery store? our local ones usually have a lot of meatless options

These are our favorite veggie dumplings. My spouse’s favorite are the green ones, mine are the black ones. I get them from our local Asian market, for around $7-8 a bag where I am. A serving is 10 dumplings for around 300 calories. Hope this helps!

Bibigo makes vegetable potstickers if you want to stay in the same brand. I also like nasoya, they have some different flavors.

Second recommending going to an HMart or another large Asian grocery store if you have one near you, they will have lots of different meatless options. Though personally at smaller ones near me I have had trouble finding vegetarian options.

I really liked these [plant based Szechuan style](https://www.hmart.com/plant-based-szechuan-style-flat-dumplings-24-7oz-700g–1/p) dumplings but they are bigger & flatter than the ones you linked.

Also probably not an option for every day but you can also buy frozen dumpling wrappers and make/freeze your own dumplings if there’s a specific filling you want

Can’t you use soy chunks, tofu, chickpeas, nuts, beans or lentils instead of meat?

I just had plantspired (formerly Nasoya) Korean bbq dumplings last night with a cucumber salad with rice vinegar and sesame oil. It was really good. I’ve never had chicken and vegetable dumplings (I became a vegetarian around ‘90, before stuff like that was widely available in my area) so I don’t know if they taste similar, but definitely a good place to start. If you are in the USA they should be in the produce section by the tofu.
