Mezcla restaurant set to reopen June 5 after Italian Village van crash
After more than four months of repairs following a van crash into its front door, an opening date for Mezcla has been announced.
The Italian Village eatery, honored as one of central Ohio’s Best New Restaurants by Columbus Monthly earlier this year, will welcome diners back June 5, chef and owner Garrett Talmadge has announced via social media.
Reservations are available now via mezclacocina.com and resy.com for June 5 and beyond.
The modern Latin restaurant has been closed since Jan. 23, when a van ran into its entryway at Summit Street and 3rd Avenue in Italian Village.
Talmadge recently announced plans for a second restaurant, a cocktail and tapas place called Coldbar. He told Columbus Monthly that his new venture also will be in Italian Village and should open in August.
