* 1 tbsp coriander powder
* 1 tbsp chilli powder (adjust to taste)

* 1 tbsp cumin powder
* 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
* 1 tbsp fresh parsley
* Salt as required
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1 tbsp sesame seeds
For frying

Method
1. Soak 1 cup dried chickpeas overnight in enough water. The next day, wash and drain them completely.
2. Add the soaked chickpeas to a mixer jar along with chopped onion, garlic cloves, green chillies, coriander powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, fresh coriander, and parsley.
3. Grind everything to a coarse mixture. Do not add water while grinding.
4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add salt, baking soda, and sesame seeds. Mix well.
5. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into balls or patties. Roll one side in sesame seeds if desired.
6. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Deep fry the falafel until golden brown and crispy. Fry on medium heat so they cook properly from inside as well.
7. Remove and drain on kitchen tissue.
Serve hot with Hummus or Tahini sauce.
