LPM Restaurant & Bar brought a taste of the Côte d’Azur to New York as the Miami dining destination partnered with Dante for an evening of Mediterranean cocktails, curated bites and Riviera-inspired hospitality in Greenwich Village.

Hosted inside Dante’s MacDougal Street space, the collaboration brought together two hospitality teams known for cultivating atmosphere as much as menus. Throughout the evening, guests moved through a curated tasting experience that paired LPM’s signature French Mediterranean dining style with cocktails that balanced playful presentation and layered flavor profiles.

The evening opened with a lineup of petites bouchées designed for slow conversation and lingering drinks. Among the highlights was the Tartine Burrata et Tomates, a combination of creamy burrata, fresh tomatoes and crisp toasted bread that felt especially suited for a warm New York night. The Vol-au-vent D’escargots followed with rich Burgundy snails tucked inside delicate puff pastry, delivering a more decadent contrast to the lighter opening bite.

Meanwhile, the Brochettes de Boeuf Épicé offered tender slices of spiced beef with subtle heat that built gradually rather than overwhelming the dish. To end the evening’s tasting experience, LPM’s signature whitefish and jalapeño crudo was served, introducing a brighter, citrus-forward element with a delightful kick.

Still, much of the attention throughout the night centered around the cocktail program. LPM’s signature Tomatini quickly became one of the standout pours of the event. Built with Ketel One Vodka, Campari, tomato, white balsamic vinegar and pepper, the cocktail leaned savory while maintaining a crisp finish. The balance of acidity, subtle sweetness and spice made the drink memorable long after the first sip.

The Bikini cocktail brought a lighter energy to the menu with mandarin and peach layered alongside Ketel One and Tanqueray Ten, while the Birkin introduced deeper flavors through cantaloupe, Bacardí Añejo Cuatro and aperitivo elements topped with tonic water. La Piscine rounded out the cocktail lineup with strawberry, yellow bell pepper soda and Don Julio Blanco, resulting in a refreshing finish with just enough chili heat to keep things interesting.

Rather than feeling overly formal, the evening maintained the kind of understated confidence often associated with Mediterranean dining culture. The pacing encouraged guests to linger between courses, revisit cocktails and settle into the atmosphere rather than rush through the experience.

The partnership between LPM Restaurant & Bar and Dante ultimately worked because both brands share a similar understanding of hospitality. Neither relied on excess. Instead, the focus remained on thoughtful details, balanced flavors and creating an environment that felt transportive without trying too hard to announce itself.

For a few hours in downtown Manhattan, the collaboration succeeded in delivering exactly what it promised: a temporary escape to the South of France without ever leaving New York City.
