Learning to like it myself! Slightly more fish flavor than typical sardines imo, which is something I didn’t grow up with.
That said, had some killer charbroiled sardine sushi today!!!

honestly I’ve found that I really prefer mackerel to sardines. sardines kinda have a weird sour smokey taste to them sometimes that I don’t like. mackerel has a really clean fatty flavor that I crave!
