A brand-new cafe & restaurant has launched on Lark Lane offering freshly made food and drinks with fresh new energy on the Lane.

Lane & Brew has opened at number 83 on one of South Liverpool’s most famous streets and its success in its first few weeks has meant it’s already evolved from a popular breakfast and brunch venue to a must-visit all-day restaurant destination.
On the Mediterranean-inspired menu now is brunch, lunch and dinner, along with coffee, cocktails, wines and beers.
New owners moved into the building in January and spent more than three months refurbishing Lane & Brew to create a relaxed and sophisticated kitchen venue with a calm and chilled vibe.
Neutral floor tiles complement marble-effect tables and comfy leather chairs which sit against a clean and crisp beige backdrop, tables decorated with flower vases and plant pots filled with greenery to offer a cosy feel.
More vivid colour is provided by the stunning dishes created by its dedicated and ambitious Turkish chef, whose secret recipe sauces are already a talking point on the restaurant’s Smashed Cheese Burger – two beef patties with lettuce, tomato, caramelised onion, pickles, cheddar cheese – and its super sought-after Salt & Pepper Chicken Wrap.
On the Morning Menu served until 1pm is a selection of breakfast and brunch dishes as well as classic Eggs Benedict favourites, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and toasts.
There’s a Lunch Menu from 1-5pm which has a range of starters – Tahini, Hummus, Creamy Garlic Mushrooms, and more – together with kebabs, pasta dishes, fajitas and seafood (like a Sea Bass fillet served with roasted potatoes, broccoli, asparagus and chef’s special sauce).
A separate Main Menu takes guests up to 8pm – Lane & Brew is open from 10am until 8pm every day – and adds delicious steak and pasta dishes to the fabulously varied selection.
On the drinks lists are wines, shots, draught and bottle beers, coffees, teas, soft drinks and, for when the sun starts to set – and even when it doesn’t – a collection of classic cocktails.
“We’ve only been open a few weeks and we’re already really busy,” says a spokesperson, “and having first wanted to create a coffee shop and brunch venue we’ve already grown to offer a dinner service in the early evening.
“Lark Lane is such a great location, close to Sefton Park it’s a lovely, warm and lively place and we’re thrilled to be a part of that.
“At Lane & Brew we want to welcome all ages, families, friends catching up, pet owners – we’re dog-friendly … in fact anyone who likes somewhere they can relax, get together, and enjoy freshly made food, created with passion and served with love.”
