Two more Central Kentucky locations of Fazoli’s, a fast-casual restaurant chain that began in Lexington, appear to have closed for good.
The restaurant at 3775 Harrodsburg Road in the Palomar shopping center and the one at 1016 N. Main St. in Nicholasville both appeared to have signs up saying they were closed, according to posts online.

According to the corporate website, neither location was accepting online orders as of Tuesday afternoon.

The Fazoli’s website said online ordering for two locations was not available, indicating both appear to be closed for good. One was on Main Street in Nicholasville and one was in Palomar shopping center in Lexington.

A previously made catering order for the Palomar location was rerouted to be picked up at Hamburg, one customer told the Herald-Leader.

Fazoli’s did not respond to a request for confirmation or comment.
Earlier this year, Fazoli’s closed two Lexington locations: One at 2195 Richmond Road in the Idle Hour shopping Center and one at 2200 Nicholasville Road in the Zandale Shopping Center.
History of Fazoli’s
Fazoli’s parent company FAT Brands filed for Chapter 11 reorganizational bankruptcy in January. The company purchased Fazoli’s in 2021 for $130 million.
Fazoli’s was founded in Lexington as Gratzi’s in 1988 and became known for its fast-casual dining experience and unlimited breadsticks. The chainonce had five locations in Fayette County, along with Fazoli’s headquarters.

Now, only the locations in Hamburg at Alysheba Way and off Tates Creek Road at Saron Drive appear open in Lexington. Locations in Georgetown, Richmond, Winchester and Frankfort also appear to still be open.
