    I wonder if it has to do with the shape of the container. Assuming you didn’t just forget to pour the caramel in first, maybe it needs to be a flat-bottomed dish to stay in place and work right.

    It looks like you caramel wasn’t cooked enough, but other than it looking like a boob, which I’m sure is because of the bowl you used, I don’t see anything else wrong with it.

    Was the texture not correct?

    Maybe not cooked enough? Also a flat bottomed bowl is best for max caramel coverage and … ahem … avoiding a nipple effect XD Mind you, colour this with a bit more pink and you might have a decent niche market for it.

    It needs to be made with a flat bottom ramekin, either glass or ceramic. Then you’ll get that nice caramel topping. Mind you, it still looks very delectable, especially to a newborn.
