Tucked inside one of midtown’s cutest neighborhoods, Common Tart has been bringing Tulsans joy by the slice since just before Thanksgiving in 2020. Led by mother-daughter team Alexandra and Sherrie Coppinger, the shop has earned a reputation over the years for its handmade sweets and late-night slice Fridays (when the shop stays open until 9 p.m. so you can grab a post-dinner treat).
As summer kicks in, those looking for a cool way to cool down can head to Common Tart to try pie blended into a milkshake. Select your preferred slice from the case to have mixed with enough vanilla ice cream to create a creamy, slurp-able delicacy — garnished with a sweet, whipped topping. If you’re looking for more, you can always pair your drink with another piece of pie.
