Although I happily eat burgers all year round, something about burgers in the summer just hits different. Usually when I make burgers at home, I just grab some pre-formed patties from my local grocery store. But recently I decided to try something different: I picked up a bag of frozen burger patties from QVC. And after tasting them, I’m so glad I did.

Rastelli’s Black Angus Triple Blend Beef Burgers Are a Total Summer Staple
The burger patties I got are Rastelli’s Black Angus Triple Blend Beef Burgers. What immediately drew me in was the “triple blend” part, which means these burgers aren’t just made from ground beef. They combine brisket, chuck, and, here’s the kicker, Black Angus short rib. Oh yeah.
In one resealable bag, you’ll get 12 burger patties — each five ounces — that are individually packaged. They can be cooked from thawed or frozen and include a signature seasoning packet to zhuzh up the burgers even more. Plus, right now these frozen burgers are on sale for $77.

My Honest Review of Rastelli’s Black Angus Triple Blend Beef Burgers
To test the burgers fully, my husband and I cooked one round of thawed patties and another of frozen patties. We thawed the burgers in the fridge overnight, and then cooked them for about four minutes each side to reach medium-rare. We completely forgot to season the thawed patties, but honestly I barely noticed because the meat was so savory, juicy, and rich. It paired so nicely with acidic mustard to cut the richness and sweet ketchup to complement the savoriness.
I also really appreciated the fact that these burgers weren’t super thick. They’re thin enough to be able to make smash burgers easily, and that’s my preferred thickness.
As for the frozen patties, these were a little trickier. The outside cooked faster than the interior, which resulted in an uneven level of doneness. Personally, I wouldn’t cook these from frozen again, but the thawed patties were wildly good and so easy to cook. I can’t imagine how delicious they’ll be with the included seasoning packet (which hopefully I’ll remember to grab out of the bag next time!).
