First ever green bean harvest
So excited to have our first ever green bean harvest! I wasn't sure when to pick them and finally decided to just go ahead before the expected rain comes through today. Can't wait to make these for dinner!
Has anyone got any recipes you could share?

We love te fresh beans out of the garden. We been using blue lake bush beans. Which variety are you using?
Yeah beans belike that
Congrats on your first bean harvest! In the future, don’t be afraid to harvest them earlier. They’re best and most tender before they start getting the lumps where you can see beans forming in them. Also, with pole beans, the more you harvest, the more they put out. If you let any go to seed, they’ll stop producing because they think their job is done
Most of the time we do them very simply, either a quick blanch in boiling water or sometimes sauteed with a little olive oil. Sprinkle of salt and good to go.
If you’re into pickling they’re also great for that.
