Apparently Tim Hortons is selling less than-grilled cheeses. Anyone try one?

They must have put Gordon Ramsay in charge of the grill.

  2. It doesn’t even look good in the official promo pic.

Tim Hortons’ can’t even toast a bagel right, I’m not surprised they can’t manage a simple grilled cheese.

We deserve a chain that takes grilled cheese seriously

They must have consulted with Gordon Ramsay…

Is it just me, or does the promo pic look *wet* ?

Edit: apparently there’s supposed to be mozzarella or something on the outside of the bread. The promo in this post does not look like cheese lol

Reminds me of Gordon Ramsay’s attempt at making a grilled cheese

Tim Hortons has been 🗑 for quite awhile.

They need to call it ‘melting’ cheese like other fast food chains.

Two breads and a cheese single cooked under a hair dryer for 3 seconds, Tim Hortons super special

In smaller communities I’ve found Tim Hortons has a better toasting game. In Toronto for example they will not toast your croissantwich, and in a small town they do, without asking. It’s no surprise that in bigger cities they do this as a time saving measure on a grilled cheese, but then they also shouldn’t offer it if they refuse to at the very least have melty cheese

I don’t get to Tim Hortons often but hear Culver’s has a pretty solid one.

Their grilled cheese was gross a decade ago too so this doesn’t surprise me.

Believe it or not Gordon Ramsey has done worse.

Speed! Not everyone knows the grill is for melting the cheese and not just for toasting the bread? So they push cook times to stupid speeds?

A few years ago when Panera attempted selling a “mac n cheese grilled cheese”, I tried it just out of curiosity. The mac n cheese was stone cold, so I gave it back and asked for a new one, which also had stone cold mac n cheese. At that point I just gave up

By “grilled” cheese they obviously mean they employer a grizzled, likely drunk, former police detective to aggressively ask your cheese sandwich some questions before it goes out to you

I actually really enjoy the grilled cheese from Tim’s. It was replaced by the pizza’s a couple years ago and that sucked. I’m glad they brought it back. It is still Tim’s quality though so it can be very hit or miss
