When you want to bite into a gyro, grab a Greek salad or savor some spanakopita, where do you go in the Charlotte area?

We want to know because we’re in search of the best Greek cuisine around — so we’re looking for your help.

To nominate your favorite Greek restaurant, just fill out our nomination form or email us at charlottefive@charlottefive.com. If you find it too hard to pick just one place, that’s not a problem; just refresh the form and nominate another one.

As with past CharlotteFive Readers’ Choice contests, each restaurant must have a location in the Charlotte area — which includes Lake Norman, Gastonia, Matthews, Mint Hill, Fort Mill and other nearby communities. We’re also looking for a place with fewer than 20 locations nationwide.

Once we collect the nominations, we’ll invite you to vote for the ones you think are the best. Stay tuned for more details and make sure you’re signed up for the CharlotteFive newsletter to follow along.

A vibrant, high-angle overhead shot of a table spread filled with a variety of Mediterranean and Greek dishes. The colorful presentation features several main plates and side dishes, including seasoned chicken souvlaki skewers, shaved pork gyros, grilled pita bread, golden french fries, and fresh side salads with lime wedges. Accompanying the platters are small bowls containing tzatziki, a roasted eggplant dip topped with kalamata olives, and a side of potato wedges with a burger.
