From 11 to 13 June 2026, the Maritime Station of Naples hosts the fifth edition of DMED – Mediterranean Diet Exhibition, one of the most important national events for the promotion and valorization of the Mediterranean Diet, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The 2026 edition of DMED will be dedicated to the theme “Food, Culture and Wellbeing”, with a special focus on Peace, a core value of the entire event. A packed program will enliven the three days: institutional conferences, thematic talks, taste workshops, cooking demonstrations, and guided tastings, involving industry experts, renowned chefs, producers, scholars, and enthusiasts from across Italy and the Mediterranean basin.

The program of the fifth edition

Among the key events of the Show, the institutional conferences will see the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, UNESCO, and leading international agri-food organizations. At the heart of the debate is the future of the Mediterranean Diet as a sustainable nutrition model, its role in prevention, and the relationship between food, territory, and cultural identity.

Visitors will be able to experience local products up close: from DOP buffalo mozzarella from Campania to Vesuvian tomatoes, from Cilento olive oil to the wines of the Terre di Napoli, on a journey that highlights the area’s biodiversity and agricultural traditions.
