Westbury Arts held its annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser at the Westbury Community Center on Post Avenue in Westbury. An afternoon that blended vintage and culinary discovery, cultural exploration, and community spirit. The Community Center was transformed into a beautiful tasting venue as guests embarked on a guided journey through the lesser-known wine regions of South America.
Attendees sampled distinctive varietals, including Torrontés, Carménère, Cabernet Franc, and Tannat, each thoughtfully paired with carefully curated small plates designed to enhance the unique characteristics of the wines. The event offered both seasoned wine enthusiasts and curious newcomers the opportunity to expand their palates while supporting the arts in the community.
Among those in attendance were the Mayor and Trustees of the Village of Westbury, members of the Westbury Arts Board of Directors, artists, patrons, and friends of the organization. Filled with lively conversation, laughter, and memorable flavors, the evening was a toast to both the rich traditions of
South American winemaking and the vibrant cultural programming that Westbury Arts brings to the community year-round.
