Combining luxury, refinement and a sense of escape, Monaco stands apart on the Riviera. A true art of living, the Principality captivates with its palaces, exceptional dining and sea views, but also with its vibrant, elegant and festive atmosphere. Here, days unfold between relaxation, gastronomy and seaside pleasures, while evenings take on a different rhythm, driven by the unique energy of Société des Bains de Mer’s iconic venues.

It is this blend of excellence, celebration and Mediterranean ease that makes Monaco such an incomparable destination. To experience its full richness, here is a five-day itinerary inviting you to discover the Principality while also exploring the treasures of the French Riviera and nearby Italy.

Day 1: The great art of living – Welcome to Monaco

Monaco, in all its splendour, awaits you as soon as you arrive on the Riviera. From the moment you check in to one of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s iconic hotels, you enter a world of luxury and refinement: the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, for a taste of palace life; the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, beloved by aesthetes; the Monte-Carlo Beach, chic and glamorous between sea and pine trees; or the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, a true Mediterranean paradise by the water.

After settling in and admiring the view from your room, several options open up to you for a gastronomic lunch with one of the most iconic panoramas in the Principality. Among them, Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, by Yannick Alléno, charms with its view over the Prince’s Palace, while Le Grill located on the 8th floor of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, offers a breathtaking panorama over the Mediterranean and Monaco’s rooftops. In each of these exceptional venues, Michelin-starred cuisine and setting come together to create an experience that is refined, luminous and purely Monte-Carlo.

After this gourmet interlude, head to the Golden Square for a luxury shopping experience. From the Promenade Princesse Charlène to the Avenue des Beaux-Arts, around One Monte-Carlo, stroll past some of the world’s leading fashion, watchmaking and jewellery houses. Then take a break at the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, across the lively and legendary Place du Casino.

The afternoon is ideal for unwinding the Monaco way. For expert treatments and state-of-the-art facilities with sea views, the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo offer an exceptional wellness experience. The spa at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort or the Wellness Sky Club at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo are also excellent options for a restorative pause.

In the evening, Monaco reveals its most elegant and festive side. Whether you choose a romantic dinner, a seaside atmosphere or the first notes of a Monégasque night out, the Principality sets the tone for a stay defined by pleasure, celebration and refinement.

Day 2: Swing and sunshine in Monaco

Sporting elegance and Mediterranean sunshine set the tone for this second day, with the morning devoted to perfecting your swing at the Monte-Carlo Golf Club. Perched high above the Principality, this 18-hole course is appreciated for its technical layout and its superb sea views.

Back on the coast, don’t miss the spectacle of the Mediterranean over lunch on the terrace at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, at Las Brisas. Grilled fish, light salads, creative dishes and a convivial atmosphere make for the perfect summer lunch.

The afternoon continues on the water, with a private boat trip along the coastline. Aboard a yacht, sailboat or catamaran, explore the hidden coves of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the colourful façades of Villefranche-sur-Mer and the natural beauty of the Côte d’Azur.

Back in Monaco, the evening takes on a more vibrant rhythm. In the Principality, nightlife is part of the art of living, and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s venues offer a truly festive experience.
Amazonico Monte-Carlo unfolds its tropical world, its uplifting rhythms and its Latin-Asian inspired cuisine in a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. COYA Monte-Carlo extends that energy with a more sensorial, musical and convivial identity, driven by Peruvian flavours and a distinctly contemporary spirit. Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo keeps the night alive to the rhythm of international DJs, offering a glamorous and high-energy setting for those who want to dance until sunrise.

In Monaco, the evening never really ends: it transforms, flows and reinvents itself according to the mood and the moment.

Day 3: A getaway along the eternal Riviera
Èze, Cote d’Azur

Around Monaco, the towns and villages of the Riviera reveal the timeless charm of the region. Behind the wheel of a convertible, take the Trois Corniches roads for spectacular coastal views, as well as La Turbie and its Roman monument, the Trophée d’Auguste, Èze and its medieval fortress, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and its hilltop castle, or Menton, with its vivid colours and unique light.

A visit to Nice is also a must: the ochre façades of the Old Town, its colourful markets, local specialities such as socca or pissaladière, Place Masséna and the Promenade des Anglais all make for an essential stop.

To extend the escape even further, a helicopter excursion can take you to Cannes in just ten minutes, then Saint-Tropez in twenty, for an immersion in two more icons of the Mediterranean coastline.

In the evening, enjoy an exceptional moment at L’Abysse Monte-Carlo at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. Chef Yannick Alléno and sushi chef Naoki Kikuchi celebrate the art of sushi through a unique,
refined and memorable experience.

“From the terrace of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the view of this ‘yachting’ life is very poetic and inspiring. It’s a spectacle in motion. Nothing stands still, it’s fascinating.” — Yannick Alléno

Day 4: Italian dolce vita
Sanremo, Italy – What to do on the French Riviera

Just a stone’s throw from Monaco, Italy is waiting for you for a day of escape. Ventimiglia, Sanremo, Bordighera or the village of Dolceacqua can all be reached in less than an hour by car. For a longer getaway, a private helicopter transfer can take you to Milan, the elegant capital of fashion and design, in just one hour of flight time.

Lake Como, Portofino, Forte dei Marmi and Porto Cervo also offer beautiful alternatives for an Italian escape full of charm.

At the end of the day, return to Monaco and rediscover the Principality’s iconic art of living. A cocktail at Le Bar Américain at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo is the perfect prelude to dinner at Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse, where the gastronomic experience reaches extraordinary heights.

For a more intimate evening, it is also possible to dine in one of the property’s most exclusive suites, overlooking the Prince’s Palace and the city lights.

Day 5: All the pleasures of the sea

No stay in Monaco would be complete without fully embracing the sea and the art of living of Société des Bains de Mer. At the Monte-Carlo Beach, guests staying at the property, as well as guests of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo and the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, can enjoy access to the Monte-Carlo Beach Club: an Olympic-size seawater pool, a legendary pontoon extending into the Mediterranean, branded by Jaquemus, striped cabanas in the shade of the pine trees, as well as padel courts and water sports. Everything here invites you to combine sport, relaxation and outdoor pleasure in an atmosphere that is chic, convivial and sun-drenched.

For an even more exhilarating experience, the water activities complete the day: jet skiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, or gentler pursuits such as pedal boating, kayaking and paddleboarding.

The experience continues naturally with dining, with several culinary options available at different moments of the day. Between Mediterranean cuisine, sunny tables and iconic addresses, the gastronomic offering reflects all the diversity and generosity of the Monte-Carlo Beach.

To round off the stay in style, a festive lunch at Maona Monte-Carlo extends the spirit of the Principality in a bright, convivial atmosphere, the perfect way to end the getaway on a joyful Mediterranean note.
