Spitz Mediterranean Street Grill is preparing to expand its footprint in Arizona with a new location planned for Buckeye at 20640 W. Roosevelt St., according to the company’s website.

The upcoming restaurant will be operated by franchisee Jaskarn Singh, who previously brought Spitz to Goodyear’s GSQ development in 2024. An opening timeline for the Buckeye location has not yet been announced, with the company’s website currently listing the restaurant as “Opening Soon.”

Founded in 2006 by Bryce Rademan and Robert Wicklund, Spitz was created to bring the flavors of Mediterranean street food to a fast-casual setting in the United States.

Today, the concept is known for its Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring wraps, gyros, bowls, and salads influenced by street food traditions from cities such as Berlin, Istanbul, and Tel Aviv.

Signature offerings include the Street Cart Döner wrap, The Spitz Gyro, Medi Bowl, and Street Cart Fries topped with garlic aioli, feta, and fresh vegetables. Spitz also offers vegan and gluten-friendly options, alongside craft beverages and cocktails.

The Buckeye restaurant marks another step in Spitz’s continued growth across Arizona as the brand expands its presence throughout the state.
