Encountered this guy at my local Sobeys who started this company from the tourist-town of Collingwood on Lake Huron. He started as a candy maker and it shows: very creamy (even when fully chilled), ingredients are prepared specially for each flavour, and there are no artificial colours or flavours.
I brought home two flavours at first (will hit the others soon) and the almond, cashew, coconut brittle flavour broke my will power. You can tell that the mixins were made by a candy shop maker as holy cow it’s right up there.
The chocolate banana is excellent, with a vibrant colour created with the help of turmeric (which you can’t taste at all).
They were CAD$9 for a 750mL tub which is a very reasonable price when compared to Hagen dazs and Ben and Jerrys (which I think are not quite as tasty or as creamy as this brand).
If he can keep up the quality/price, it’s my new go-to brand. Maybe we aren’t living in the worst timeline after all lol
