‘A lot of pain’: James Beard winner to close Austin restaurant El Naranjo after 15 years

A culinary trailblazer and unofficial matriarch of the modern Mexican movement in Austin, chef Iliana de la Vega announced Wednesday that she will close her restaurant, El Naranjo, on July 18 after more than 15 years in Austin.
