Tried the previous three trips to Tokyo but it was always criwded. This time it was like 10 minutes wait and yeah chashu was not my fav style but bowl itself was top notch.
Don’t think it tops Kitanbo but still the second best I had in Tokyo.
Next trip I want to taste Menya Kissou in Kōtō.

The way the chashu melts into the broth while still keeping its shape is really satisfying, the noodles have that perfect chew I always look for.

Went there back in march. Very thick pork. Definitely worth the wait

I’d love to try Mutekiya this August. Kikanbo is my favorite too 🙂
