I obsessed with composting and making pizza with homegrown produce! Next goal is flour from my own grain!
Edit: first pic is 1 ton of used coffe grounds for my compost system btw

Iโ€™m the gardener in the family. My husband initially wanted to wash everything before eating it but now heโ€™ll eagerly take berries, tomatoes, peas etc and eat them from the vine. He canโ€™t get over how good homegrown strawberries smell. Never, ever is there a cost/benefit consideration.

The benefit of having a connection to the soil, sunshine and pesticide free food is well documented. There are psychological benefits as well. Even if you only have space for a row of carrots, lettuce and a tomato plant, I think everyone will get way more out of watching the seed germinate, grow, set fruit or head up, and know the joy of harvesting even a lettuce leaf you grew.๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ…

I ๐Ÿ’• love how u told of your garden from start to finish. Beautiful told and your garden mascot is sweet to have. The pizza u made I sure bet was delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹. Nothing like something that is made from your own garden, it sure canโ€™t be beat ๐Ÿ‘

That pizza must taste delicious. I made stuffed peppers last year with red and yellow bell peppers from my garden and I was blown away by how delicious they were compared to using store bought peppers
