The Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW) is delighted to welcome Amorim Family Estates, comprising the Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, Taboadella and Herdade Aldeia de Cima wine projects, as an official supporter. The projects are led by Luisa Amorim and span three distinct Portuguese regions; the Douro, the Dão and the Alentejo.
Through this agreement, these three wine projects join the Institute of Masters of Wine’s global network of supporters, contributing to its mission to foster excellence, interaction and learning across all areas of the wine world and reflecting a shared commitment to wine education and knowledge exchange. The relationship provides a platform for future collaborations around Portuguese wine regions, native grape varieties, viticultura heritage and broader educational initiatives connected to Portugal.
