Soda fans love something new to sip on—that is, until they discover that new flavor they’re obsessed with is being discontinued.
Now, consumers are getting creative and attempting to recreate their beloved flavors of the past at Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. One TikToker recently went viral after cracking the code to a fan-favorite discontinued flavor, and the internet couldn’t be happier.

How to Recreate the Fan-Favorite CherryBaby101 Soda
In 2025, Coca-Cola released six new flavors for a limited time as part of its “Internet’s Favorite Mix” which were exclusive to Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. While the flavors have been discontinued for over a year, fans have clung onto their favorites, and are now trying to recreate what’s been lost.
One creator, @Matt__King, recently shared how to recreate his favorite flavor from the lineup, CherryBaby101, at any Freestyle machine. It’s a simple combination of three sodas that are typically available at all Freestyle machines.
Here’s his recipe: Start with a cup filled with your preferred amount of ice, then add 1/3 Cherry Sprite, 1/3 Vanilla Sprite, and finish it off with 1/3 Grape Fanta. Give it a good mix with your straw, and like magic the discontinued flavor has returned!
Fans are grateful for King’s recipe, going as far as to comment, “This is why you’re my favorite person,” and, “Thank you for your service.” Another joked, “This is the boots on the ground journalism we need!”
Even Coca-Cola chimed in, writing, “All of the best flavors are only available on Freestyle.”
After the release of King’s video, soda drinkers filled the comments section with their own Freestyle creations including “1/3 Pineapple Sprite Zero, 1/3 Strawberry Sprite Chill Zero, 1/3 Peach Sprite Chill Zero,” for a fruit-forward caffeine break and “2/3 Vanilla Coke Zero and 1/3 Lime Coke Zero” for a creamy version of a Diet Coke with lime.
As an avid Freestyle machine user, I offer one piece of advice before trying your hand at recreating any of these combos (or just dispensing a single soda): Run the water for a few seconds before choosing your desired flavors. It helps to clear the previous syrups from the tubes and prevents your Diet Coke from having an Orange Fanta after taste. I’ve walked away too many times with a funky tasting soda to ever make that mistake again.
