Chef Juan “Pepe” Rangel has spent decades in San Antonio’s culinary scene after moving from Chicago, where his passion for food first took root. He mastered the art of Italian cooking while working in local Italian restaurants before opening his own cozy neighborhood spot, which has earned a loyal following for its homemade dishes and welcoming atmosphere.
