FLINT, Mich. — Wine and Rhymes, an event showcasing local artists, was held at Queen’s Provisions in Flint’s Carriage Town district.

The event was created to showcase Flint’s diverse talent in an intimate setting.

Jeff Skigh is hosting Wine and Rhymes, which features local artists, including local rapper BayBro who says these events are important.

“This is extremely important because it means a lot to the community I feel like this is community work right here…things like this is very important and it allows local artists to showcase their talent and otherwise people may not have heard of them,” said BayBro.

Skigh is also hosting Live at Carriage Town Saturday afternoon at 307 Mason Street.
