As part of its ongoing efforts to support the growth of Argentine wine in international markets Wines of Argentina (WofA), the organization responsible for promoting the country’s wine brand abroad, has renewed its long-standing collaboration agreement with FedEx, a global leader in transportation and logistics.
The agreement enhances the efficiency, security, and sustainability of shipments supporting Wines of Argentina’s international activities, particularly the transportation of samples for trade fairs, tastings, and other strategic events. The agreement provides Wines of Argentina and its member wineries with a range of benefits, including preferential rates, specialized logistics support, and packaging solutions specifically designed to protect high-value products such as wine.

First Joint Initiative: Recognizing Sustainability-Focused Journalism
As the first milestone of this renewed agreement, Wines of Argentina and FedEx launched a special Journalist’s Day initiative in collaboration with 10 Argentine wineries. As part of the program, exclusive gift kits were delivered to nearly 100 journalists and media influencers from Tier 1 and Tier 2 outlets in Buenos Aires and Mendoza.
The kits featured a curated selection of wines representing the diverse regions, styles, and expressions that define Argentine winemaking. The initiative highlighted the quality and richness of the country’s wine industry, while FedEx logistics expertise ensured each package transportation of the kits from Mendoza to Wines of Argentina in Buenos Aires with the care required for such a premium product.
Reflecting the shared values of both organizations, the initiative incorporated sustainability considerations throughout its execution. The delivery was made using an electric vehicle and 100% recyclable packaging, further advancing the company’s ongoing collaboration with the wine industry to optimize wine shipments through safer, more efficient, and sustainable packaging solutions. Designed to protect a delicate product while minimizing transportation risks, these innovations are part of the company’s continued investment in specialized logistics solutions tailored to the sector.
