BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The 8th annual BG Wine Fest took place Saturday afternoon at the Historic RailPark in downtown Bowling Green.

The RailPark partnered with the Kentucky Wineries Association to bring wines from across the state for guests to sample. Attendees could cool off inside the museum while enjoying tastings, while outside the festival featured live music, local vendors, and food trucks.

Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in a silent auction, with proceeds supporting the continued operation and preservation of the Historic RailPark.

“Events like this is what keeps the building open for the public. It’s what keeps the museum running. It’s what keeps the lights on.” says event coordinator Molly Claire Able. “Being able to collaborate with like other local vendors … all throughout Kentucky, like all the wineries and stuff, it’s really awesome to kind of feel like the community come together and keep such an amazing building going.”
