Went to a Nespresso Boutique and had the chance to try out the NOLA Blend and see what the buzz was about. Was pleasantly impressed with it, even when I only tried it iced and without milk. Bought 2 sleeves to start as they’re quite more expensive than the regular capsules. The hype was warranted! It’s one of the best Nespresso pods that I’ve tasted so far, granted we have limited selections here (no Starbucks, Oat-Ly, Samra, and others). I wish this one stays in the lineup and not just a Limited Edition.
There was also a promo when you buy 7 sleeves you’ll get a small Barista Recipe Glass. It’s my first Nespresso-branded glass.

The best
One of my fav pods of all time!!!
Yay, so happy for you guys. The good news (maybe) is that the, “N,” logo and lettering is not foil. Not 100% the case, but if they follow their own convention, it has the potential to be a permanent capsule. Red designates a decaf, while metallic silver and gold designates a limited or special edition. The NOLA although permanent in North American markets, could be seasonal in other markets.
In any case, enjoy it. It’s a good one. Canada ordered so much of it that they had to clear what extra they had left over as a BOGO. Needless to say, I took full advantage of the deal and had, at one time, 60 sleeves or more. Closest thing to a Vietnamese Iced Coffee you can get with a Nespresso capsule (condensed milk, for the win!). If no condensed milk, white chocolate sauce works.
Love the boutique photo. A sink at the bar is so damn convenient. My neighbourhood bar is over ten years old and It wasn’t a thing back then. Either that, or it was not possible being part of a shopping mall.
Anyway, I’m starting to ramble again. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!!!!!😊
