The long awaited update post! The loaves were perfect. Pillowy soft, even crumb, pretty comparable rise to my other loaves.

So interesting when that dough sat proofing 6 hours too long in my 78 degree house (Texas summer 🥹).

Goes to show the most important thing when it comes to sourdough is learning to speak your dough’s language- she’ll tell you when she’s ready to go!

    Just made my second loaf of sourdough sandwhich bread and I love how low maintenance it is. A single day from mixing to baking. I think I need to try and neglect my artisanal loaves more

    Yep! I leave mine on the counter overnight and get consistently good rise and proofing. Congrats!
